Linda Mwananchi leaders intensified their efforts to reshape Kenya’s political landscape on Tuesday following a significant engagement with a key constitutional office, a move that has sparked fresh speculation about the coalition’s long-term political ambitions.

The meeting, held in Nairobi, brought together officials from the Linda Mwananchi faction and representatives from the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP), as the group continued laying the groundwork for its next political phase.

Although discussions remained largely procedural, insiders described the engagement as an important milestone in the faction’s ongoing plans to establish a formal political vehicle capable of participating in future electoral contests.

The delegation sought approval for the reservation of the proposed party name, a legal requirement before a new political outfit can proceed with registration under Kenya’s Political Parties Act.
