The vocal Nairobi politician has positioned himself well as he seeks to vie for the presidency. He is hoping that the United Opposition will settle for him to show president Ruto dust.
Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi has issued a firm declaration regarding the opposition’s presidential lineup, confirming that the Linda Mwananchi movement will present Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as its official candidate to challenge President William Ruto in the 2027 general election.
Osotsi emphasized that backing the vocal legislator gives the opposition its strongest chance at unseating the current administration, describing Sifuna as the most viable figure to unite discontented voters across the nation.
According to the Vihiga lawmaker, securing a decisive victory against the ruling coalition becomes significantly easier with Sifuna heading the ticket.
Osotsi argued that Sifuna’s consistent stance on governance, paired with his ability to command organic public support, makes him a uniquely formidable contender.
