Political observers believe Kenyatta’s continued involvement in party affairs signals his determination to shape Jubilee’s future and strengthen its organizational structures ahead of the next polls.
His recent meetings with leaders and aspirants from different parts of the country have fueled speculation that the former president intends to play a more active role in opposition politics and coalition-building.
For Jubilee aspirants who attended the Nyeri meeting, the discussions offered reassurance that the party is committed to providing leadership, clear direction and a united front as preparations for the next electoral cycle gather momentum.
With just over a year before the official campaign season begins, Jubilee appears keen on rebuilding its grassroots network while positioning itself as a formidable political force capable of competing in the 2027 elections.
