Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua hosted key leaders at his Wamunyoro residence in Nyeri County, highlighting the political activity at his rural home.

Through a statement shared alongside photographs of the meeting, the former Deputy President confirmed hosting the delegation, framing the visit as both a personal reunion and a strategic political consultation aimed at shaping the country’s future leadership.

“Strong families beget strong nations; they are the motifs that beautifully knit beautiful societies. This morning, at Wamunyoro Residence, I was glad to receive my cousins Hon. Ezekiel Machogu and Hon. Omingo Magara who called on me and Rev Dorcas,” Gachagua posted online.

Beyond exchanging family pleasantries, the high-profile consultation centered on national politics and long-term planning for the 2027 General Election.

Gachagua noted that their discussions focused on mapping out steps toward what he described as the journey to “liberate” the country and structure the incoming 6th administration.
