Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has issued a strong statement following the massive Linda Mwananchi rally held in Nairobi, highlighting the capital city’s critical role as an electoral battleground.

Reflecting on the political turnout, the senator signaled that Nairobi’s influence will be decisive in the upcoming 2027 general election, where the capital is projected to command up to three million registered voters.

Addressing political adversaries who may underrate the opposition’s expanding footprint, Khalwale suggested that competing coalitions will soon realize the true extent of the changing political tide.

He extended special appreciation to Police Commander Mr. Issa for ensuring peace and maintaining order throughout the entire demonstration route during the event.

Furthermore, the senator commended the youth of Nairobi for demonstrating restraint and actively refusing attempts to recruit them into political violence or chaos.

Khalwale’s remarks underline a growing sense of unity within the opposition movement, which continues to position itself as a liberation force dedicated to protecting public welfare and democratic institutions.

By commending both law enforcement and the local youth, the lawmaker sought to highlight the discipline and widespread public support backing the Linda Mwananchi banner as it expands its nationwide mobilization.

The successful execution of the Nairobi rally marks another milestone for the Linda Mwananchi platform as key leaders consolidate urban and regional voting blocs ahead of the next election cycle.

With influential figures joining hands across regions, Khalwale reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to driving systemic change, emphasizing that the country belongs to its citizens who remain determined to reclaim its political future.
