Under reorganized operational models, public processing plants including Chemelil, Muhoroni, Sony, and Nzoia Sugar Companies are now fully back online.
The introduction of professional administrative leadership and streamlined structures has ensured that both primary growers and factory workers receive regular, prompt monthly compensation.
This reliable disbursement cycle marks a significant departure from previous years, which were defined by chronic payment arrears, operational breakdowns, and persistent labor unrest.
Adding a major financial incentive for local communities, President Ruto revealed that sugarcane farmers are set to receive bonus payouts starting this October.
