Cleo Malalah Explains How Kenyans Can Help Sifuna Win the Presidency

Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) Deputy Party Leader Cleophas Malalah has outlined a strategic blueprint detailing how Kenyans can support Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna’s potential bid for the presidency.

Speaking during an episode of his podcast, Bonga na Malalah, the former Kakamega Senator argued that Sifuna has mobilized immense grassroots support among young people across the nation.

Consequently, Malalah urged citizens to step up and actively propel the outspoken legislator to the country’s highest office.
To finance the high-stakes campaign, Malalah proposed an ambitious fundraising event to be hosted at the historic Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.

He called on wealthy supporters and high-profile leaders to contribute generously, suggesting a fundraising target of over KSh 1 million per plate for the presidential drive.
At the same time, Malalah highlighted an inclusive model for ordinary citizens who wish to participate.

He suggested reserving a dedicated mobile paybill number specifically for Gen Zs and unemployed youths, enabling them to contribute whatever small amounts they can afford toward the campaign chest.

Addressing voters from Western Kenya, Malalah stressed that the Luhya community possesses the resources necessary to power a winning presidential campaign. He insisted that the community must fully embrace and fund its own leaders if it expects to be taken seriously on the national political stage.

“If we want real representation at the top, we must embrace our own son and back him financially,” Malalah stated, emphasizing that regional unity and organized public support will be decisive factors.
