Waluke and Wanjala emphasized that the community’s continued support for the ruling administration must be matched with explicit political stakes, arguing that securing the deputy presidency is a non-negotiable condition for maintaining unified backing in the upcoming general election.
The strategic maneuver aims to consolidate Western Kenya’s bargaining power while reshaping national political alignments.
The MPs highlighted that the region possesses capable, experienced, and highly qualified leadership ready to assume second-in-command responsibilities.
