The CS also explained a vital compromise reached over Kasarani Stadium’s hospitality design. CAF initially requested 61 luxury skyboxes inside the facility. However, meeting that demand would have required demolishing three-quarters of the historic structure.
Following successful state negotiations, CAF approved a modified plan featuring just six skyboxes. Mvurya affirmed that six VIP suites will offer executive hospitality while preserving the venue’s structural integrity.
Work is also progressing on three new practice pitches situated near Talanta Sports City. The government maintains that Kenya will deliver a memorable continental football tournament without unnecessary panic.
