The speaker of the national assembly left many Kenyans talking a few days ago after he publicly claimed to have given employment letters to legislators who later sold them.
According to Wetangula, he took various members of Parliament to the State House where they were given letters by the President but instead of giving them to their people for free, they are selling them. Well, Kimilili member of Parliament Honorable Didmas Barasa has responded.

Speaking on a radio show, Sulwe FM, Barasa distanced himself from the statements issued by Wetangula.
According to him, he has never received the letter and has not therefore sold any to local people.
He has maintained that in Kimilili, he advocates for equality and fairness even during employment.
I want to be real with people here. I have always been fair when it comes to issues affecting Kimilili residents. I will always advocate for fairness and I have never received or sold employment letters as alleged by the speaker of the national assembly Wetangula.
