Cleophas Malalah Visits Boni Khalwale to Mourn the Passing of His Wife

MALINYA, Kakamega — In a remarkable show of unity that transcends political rivalries, former Kakamega Senator and current Democracy and Progress Party (DCP) Deputy Party Leader, Hon. Cleophas Malalah, paid a condolence visit to Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale at his rural home in Malinya, Ikolomani Constituency.

The visit follows the sudden and heartbreaking demise of Senator Khalwale’s beloved wife, Mama Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, who passed away recently.

Accompanied by a delegation of close political allies, Malalah arrived at the homestead to comfort his long-time political rival during one of the most painful chapters of his life.

The gesture drew praise from residents across Kakamega County, many of whom commended Malalah for setting aside intense political differences to stand with a brother in grief.

“I visited the home of my senior brother, Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, in Malinya today to offer my deepest condolences following the heartbreaking passing of his beloved wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, last week.

The departure of a devoted wife and a loving mother leaves a profound, irreplaceable void, and is a pain of unimaginable depth.

I extend my most sincere, heartfelt sympathies to Senator Khalwale, his family, and all who loved mama Gloria, during this time of immense grief.

May mama’s soul find eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon her.”
