Addressing thousands of supporters who gathered to welcome the progressive faction, the vocal legislator raised concerns over repeated threats from organized groups targeting opposition gatherings.
He poked fun at critics who predicted violence or low turnout, pointing out that the massive gathering demonstrated the residents’ resolve to reject political intimidation and patronage.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his deep ties to Kisumu, framing his leadership as an authentic reflection of local aspirations. Utilizing his popular slogan emphasizing his strong connection to the region’s grassroots, he declared that the city stands firmly behind his political vision.
