President Ruto Fires Back at Gachagua During Emurua Dikirr Development Tour
Emurua Dikirr, Kenya – President William Ruto has launched a scathing attack against former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and the United Opposition, telling them to develop a constructive national agenda instead of roaming the country to mislead citizens.
Speaking in Emurua Dikirr, Narok County, during an extensive development tour, the Head of State directly addressed explosive remarks made by Gachagua in the region just days prior.
During his visit, Gachagua had targeted the Kenya Kwanza administration, demanding fresh, international-level investigations into the fatal helicopter crash of former area MP Johana Ngeno. Gachagua had also accused the government of neglecting local promises made to the late MP’s family.

Unshaken by the opposition’s claims, President Ruto hit back, urging Gachagua and his allies to focus on substance rather than peddling falsehoods to gain political mileage.
He reaffirmed that the Kenya Kwanza administration remains fully committed to fulfilling every single promise made to the people of Emurua Dikirr and the wider Rift Valley region without failure.
Reiterating his administration’s focus on education, infrastructure, and local development, President Ruto assured residents that the area’s growth remained a top priority.
Among his key directives, the President confirmed plans to construct over 16 classrooms to improve learning conditions for local schools, describing the move as a tangible demonstration of his willingness to deliver on his commitments.
He also announced major funding for a regional university and youth infrastructure in memory of the late MP.
President Ruto called on the residents of Emurua Dikirr to reject political side-shows, emphasizing that his administration would continue to prioritize tangible, life-changing projects over political rhetoric.
