Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has delivered a scathing political retaliation against Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei, dismissing claims regarding political assignments meant to neutralize former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s newly established Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP).
The confrontation erupted following assertions by Cherargei that political operatives were dispatched to counter Gachagua’s expanding electoral machinery and regional influence under his new outfit.
Cherargei had claimed that Nyoro was functioning as part of a strategic state apparatus aimed at containing the political fallout from Gachagua’s impeachment and suppressing the growth of rival parties in Central Kenya.
In a fierce response, Nyoro forcefully rejected the allegations, characterizing Cherargei as an unprincipled political mercenary whose commentary carries zero credibility.
Nyoro stated that Cherargei lacks moral grounding and acts purely as a hired gun for whichever political faction offers financial incentive.
He emphasized that the Nandi Senator is so easily bought that giving him a mere five thousand shillings would prompt him to turn around and insult his own mother without hesitation.
Nyoro further clarified his political stance, insisting that his decisions are guided by his own vision through the People’s Party of Kenya rather than directives from external forces.
He advised the public and political commentators to ignore Cherargei’s frequent outbursts, framing them as publicity stunts designed to secure personal upkeep rather than genuine legislative engagement.
