Kenyan diplomat and former Cabinet Secretary Dr. Monica Juma has officially taken the oath of office as Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) and Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), marking a significant milestone in her distinguished international career.
The oath was administered before United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres at a ceremony held at the UN Headquarters, formally ushering Dr. Juma into one of the most influential leadership positions within the global body.
