Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka has intensified his political onslaught against President William Ruto, framing a single-term presidency and institutional accountability as the primary remedies for the country’s governance challenges.

Hon Kalonzo Musyoka has revealed what will happen in the event that President Ruto steals the forthcoming general elections to be held in August next year. He said this will happen.

Popularizing his political campaign rallying cry known as Wantam, which translates to a commitment to limit the current administration to just one term in office, the opposition principal emphasized that the electorate holds the ultimate power to reshape Kenya’s leadership landscape.

Speaking during a political mobilization tour, the former Vice President targeted the administration’s fiscal policies, persistent economic strain, and public integrity issues.

He noted that while constitutional mechanisms exist to remove a sitting head of state if severe electoral malpractices or financial misconduct occur, the political opposition remains vigilant against any attempt to compromise democratic processes or subvert public resources.

The opposition chief stressed that the combination of popular democratic action through the ballot box and strict parliamentary oversight provides a dual approach to constitutional governance.

By rallying his support base under the Wantam banner, he argued that citizens must remain organized to ensure that public funds are safeguarded and that any electoral irregularities or executive overreach are met with immediate legal and constitutional challenges.

He further warned that the political opposition will not hesitate to pursue formal impeachment proceedings through Parliament if evidence of systemic corruption or constitutional violations emerges.

Asserting that leadership must remain directly accountable to the citizens, he urged voters to remain vigilant and united in demanding transparent governance as the country moves closer to the next general election.
