His appearance immediately raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his alleged disappearance.Addressing the press, Director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Mohamed Amin claimed that Tuju had staged his own abduction.
According to Amin, preliminary investigations indicate that the former CS had been at his Karen residence since Friday, contradicting the missing person report filed by his family.
