Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has issued a stern warning over the state of press freedom in Kenya following the terrifying ordeal of Standard Group Associate Editor Alex Kiprotich.
Speaking out after Kiprotich was seized by armed men along the Gilgil–Nakuru road, held captive, and later found dumped near Masinga Dam, Natembeya voiced deep alarm over the broader implications for the nation’s democracy.
