According to Wamuchomba, she chose principle over political convenience, believing that supporting him was the right thing to do.
However, she now appears deeply disappointed by what she describes as Gachagua’s response to her loyalty. Wamuchomba said that despite standing with him during a difficult political moment, she is now being branded a traitor.
“I refused to sell my ‘brother’ during his impeachment. Today, he calls me a traitor. What a thankless person,” Wamuchomba said.
Her remarks have added another layer to the increasingly intense political disagreements surrounding Gachagua and some of his former allies.
The statement also raises questions about how quickly political friendships can change when interests and positions begin to shift.
