During the meeting, Malala offered strong assurances that the upcoming primary elections will be conducted under a transparent, fair, and credible framework to guarantee an equal playing field for all candidates.
“Our engagement reaffirmed and assured the young leaders of our commitment to a fair, transparent, and credible nomination process that will give every aspirant an equal platform to compete,” stated Malala. “Young people must not only vote in 2027—we must contest, lead, and shape the future. The journey towards August 2027 must leave no young person behind.”
