How does it Happen.
If you’re a Christian, they allow your pastor or bishop to conduct the service just like the normal Christians service. However, immediately after the coffin is dropped in the grave, the traditional leaders take over.
The church is allowed to leave and now the cultural practices takeover. One elder who has performed the ritual for a very long time and is trusted by both the community and the family enters the grave.
With a Hummer, the coffin is slightly dismantled. What follows is the process of convincing the dead to sit.
Just like a normal conversation, the dead are asked to sit with the assistance of the ritualists. They are convinced until finally the coffin folds to the sitting posture.
