Former Gatundu South Member of Parliament Honorable Moses Kuria has taken to social media to express deep anguish following severe allegations leveled against him by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua during a high-stakes political rally in Gatundu.

Gachagua, accompanied by Gatundu South MP Gabriel Kagombe—who recently defected from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) to join the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP)—fired sharp salvoes at Kuria on his home turf.

Addresssing the rally, Gachagua alleged that the government used goons organized by Kuria to target and destroy Kikuyu-owned businesses.

Reacting on Facebook, a distressed Kuria lamented that Gachagua’s fiery rhetoric had crossed personal lines into invoking curses upon his children.

Kuria directly appealed to Gachagua’s wife, Reverend Dorcas Wanjiku, asking her to intervene and pray for her husband.

“Surely, even if I am a bad person Rigathi Gachagua, why curse my children?. What have my children done to you? Do they deserve this?, Have I ever mentioned your children even after they bought Outspan Hotel in Nyeri?. Does it need to get this personal? Dear Rev. Dorcas, do not allow this. The mother of the children who were cursed by your husband today was fellowshipping with you and praying for your husband to be Deputy President. Stop him please!”

The public exchange highlights escalating political friction within the Mount Kenya region. Kuria urged politicians to refrain from dragging innocent family members into ongoing political rivalries.
