“I want to prophesy today based on experience and foresight,” Gachagua stated. “One single candidate will be announced, but one person will walk away on his own.”
He cautioned that such a rift would split opposition votes, creating an open opportunity for United Democratic Alliance (UDA) strategists to capitalize on the fallout.
Despite predicting turbulence, Gachagua pledged to support whichever candidate the broader coalition settles on, calling on rival principals to make similar public commitments to build trust among voters.
