Speaking during a media briefing at Afya House, health officials reassured Kenyans that no confirmed Ebola case has been reported in the country.
However, authorities warned that Kenya remains at risk due to increased regional movement driven by trade, transport and international travel.
The Ministry of Health said it has activated a multi-agency emergency response system aimed at preventing the virus from entering the country and ensuring rapid containment should any suspected case emerge
Officials revealed that screening and surveillance at all major points of entry, including airports and border crossings, have been significantly enhanced.
Travellers arriving from affected regions are now undergoing closer health monitoring as part of efforts to detect possible infections early.
The government also confirmed that emergency coordination systems are already operational through the Ministry of Health and the Kenya National Public Health Institute (KNPHI).

Rapid response teams have been deployed across high-risk areas, while county governments have been placed on alert to strengthen local preparedness.
Health authorities further noted that laboratory testing capacity has been expanded to improve the speed and accuracy of diagnosis in case of suspected infections.
Hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country have also been advised to strengthen isolation readiness and ensure medical workers are adequately trained and equipped to handle potential Ebola cases safely.
In addition, the Ministry of Health said public awareness campaigns are being intensified to educate citizens on Ebola symptoms, prevention measures and the importance of seeking immediate medical attention if symptoms develop, especially after travel to affected countries.
Kenyans were urged to remain calm and avoid spreading misinformation, with officials emphasizing that panic could undermine ongoing preparedness efforts. Citizens were also advised to follow official public health advisories and cooperate fully with screening and monitoring procedures at border points and healthcare facilities.
The government reiterated that safeguarding public health remains a top priority while assuring investors, tourists and international partners that Kenya remains safe, open and prepared to respond effectively to any emerging threat.
Health experts say continued vigilance and regional cooperation will be critical in preventing the spread of the deadly virus, which has historically caused concern across East and Central Africa during outbreaks.
