Hon Boni Khalwale is also the currently serving Senator for Kakamega County having being elected during the hotly contested 2022 general elections under the United Democratic Alliance.
However, the vocal politician fell out with President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto and decided to ditch the ruling UDA.
