Farouk Kibet Launches Fiery Attack on Gachagua Over US Trip
President William Ruto’s powerful personal aide, Farouk Kibet, has launched a blistering verbal attack against former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who is currently in the United States.
Speaking during an empowerment event in Western Kenya, Kibet took direct aim at the former second-in-command, advising him to extend his stay in America rather than returning home to engage in divisive politics.
Gachagua recently jetted out of the country accompanied by his wife, Mama Dorcas Rigathi. The trip is expected to combine private engagements with public appearances, including town-hall meetings with the Kenyan diaspora. However, his foreign tour has only intensified the political friction back home.

While addressing attendees at the empowerment drive, an agitated Kibet claimed Kenya has experienced unprecedented peace and unity in Gachagua’s absence.
He accused the former Deputy President of constantly fostering ethnic division and tribal politics during his tenure in government.
“He should just remain there in the United States and let Kenyans be,” Kibet declared, asserting that the country is currently united and moving forward without political incitement.
Kibet urged Gachagua to focus on his engagements abroad and stop attempting to polarize the nation from afar. He maintained that the Kenya Kwanza administration is committed to national integration and economic development for all citizens, warning that attempts to revive tribal alignments will fail.
The scathing remarks highlight the deepening rift between the former Deputy President and President Ruto’s inner circle, signaling that the political gloves are off ahead of future political alignments.
