The political temperatures are high in Kakamega County as the ruling party the United Democratic party is fighting to clinch the two seats in the By-election in Kakamega County.The

The Malava seat and that of Kisa East are up for grabs. The president is determined to make a Mark in Kakamega and Western region.

If he manages to win these seats, he is going to be in a better position to battle for a region that has been supporting the late Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga for a long time.

Well, according to the video shared online, Kisa East ward UDA Party candidate, James Shikaru has made a U-turn on his early decision to step down from the race in favour of MDG candidate.

Speaking in Kisa East, James claimed that Khwisero Member of Parliament Honorable Aseka Miradi lied to him that he spoke to the Kenya Kwanza leadership and they told him to tell James to stepdown in favour of broad based government candidate.

He claimed that upon following up on the whole issue, he discovered they lied to him and his people. Therefore, he is back on the race and has promised to win the seat on the UDA Party ticket.
