Following the unceremonious removal of Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna from his role as the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General, Busia County Woman Representative Hon. Catherine Omanyo stepped into the seat in an acting capacity.

“I engaged with Halima Godana Sama, an MCA aspirant for Kina Ward in Isiolo County on her aspirations and the continued growth of ODM grassroots presence in Isiolo county.

Continuing with the day’s engagements, I also welcomed Jullie Amoit from Teso North, who paid a courtesy call and officially registered as a member of the ODM Party. Her decision to join us is a welcome addition as we continue to expand our membership across the country. Tuko Tayari.”
