Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has announced the return of his free revision classes, offering candidates preparing for the 2026 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations an opportunity to strengthen their Mathematics skills.
In a statement shared on Instagram on Friday, October 23, 2026, the legislator invited candidates to attend a Mathematics revision session scheduled for Sunday, October 25.
Owino said the lesson would cover Mathematics Papers 1 and 2, focusing on key topics frequently tested in national examinations.
“Classes zetu zimerudi!” he announced, encouraging students to take advantage of the free lessons as they prepare for their examinations.
The upcoming session is expected to help candidates revise important mathematical concepts, practise calculations and improve their understanding of challenging topics before sitting their papers.
Mathematics remains an important subject for KCSE candidates, with thorough preparation and regular practice helping learners improve their confidence and examination performance.

Since then, he has continued offering revision sessions during examination periods, focusing on areas that commonly challenge secondary school candidates.
His previous lessons have covered topics such as algebra, matrices, differentiation and binomial expansion, among other mathematical concepts.
The initiative has also earned him recognition beyond his political career, allowing him to interact directly with learners and support their academic preparation.
Babu Owino’s Academic Background
Owino’s involvement in Mathematics tutoring is supported by his academic background. He graduated from the University of Nairobi in 2012 with a first-class honours degree in Actuarial Science before pursuing a career in law.
His return to the classroom comes as candidates intensify preparations for the 2026 KCSE examinations.
The free revision programme is expected to provide learners with additional academic support as they work towards achieving better results.
Candidates interested in participating have been encouraged to follow Owino’s social media platforms for further details about the session.
