Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has launched a scathing attack on former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
He described him as “a dangerous person” in a sharply worded statement posted on social media platform X.
Kuria’s remarks were a direct response to earlier comments by Gachagua.
Gachagua had mocked Kuria’s political outfit, Chama Cha Kazi referring to it dismissively as a “wheelbarrow,”.
A symbol closely associated with President William Ruto’s hustler movement.

In his post, Kuria did not mince words, accusing the former DP of promoting divisive politics and personal attacks .
Instead of offering constructive leadership. Kuria wrote, “Rigathi Gachagua is a dangerous person.” He added that the country should be cautious about political figures. These figures thrive on insults and tribal rhetoric.
The online exchange has quickly ignited debate across Kenya’s political landscape.
Supporters of both leaders stormed social media to defend their camps.
Kuria’s allies praised him for calling out what they termed “reckless populism”.
While, Gachagua’s backers dismissed Kuria’s comments as emotional outbursts from a politician struggling for relevance.
Gachagua’s initial remarks had been delivered during a political commentary thread, where he compared CCK to a wheelbarrow.
The comparison drew laughter and criticism in equal measure, but Kuria appeared particularly incensed.
Chama Cha Kazi, which Kuria formed after exiting the Jubilee Party, has positioned itself as a pro-development political movement.
