Victor Mugubi Wanyama is a Kenyan Football star who is credited for being the first Kenyan to play in the English premier league.

He Played for Tottenham Hotspur club coming closer to winning the league twice only to be denied by Leister and Chelsea.

Where Did He Play First Before Joining Tottenham Hotspur?

Wanyama played for AFC leopard in the Kenya premier league. He later joined the Scottish based football club Celtic FC.

At Celtic, he stayed there for six years winning the league in different seasons. Here, he was spotted by Tottenham scouts who signed him. He ended up paying there for years. Netting various memorable goals.

Recently, he was without a club having left the Canadian club Montreal Impact where he played for three seasons. He was inserch of a club before making the decision to get out of the pitch.

Speaking in an interview with a local radio station, Wanyama claimed that he’s now focused on coaching career. Although he did not mention the exact clubs he will be Targeting, many are anticipating Europe as his station.
