Former Kakamega County Senator, Honorable Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah has sounded a warning to the Mount Kenya region ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking at Inooro radio, the vibrant DCP Deputy Party leader cautioned people from the central region against following the new political parties being fronted by leaders leaving the United Democratic party.

According to him, some of these people have been sent by President William Ruto and his allies to cause confusion in the region that is currently enjoying the support of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
” I want to ask people from the Mount Kenya region to be very careful. What is happening right now is a calculated political mission. Those people you are seeing pretending to dump Kenya Kwanza are not doing it for the right reasons. Some of them are being sent by President William Ruto to cause confusion and divide the mountain. Kindly Unite behind Gachagua and run away from any other Party that will be brought to you.” Said Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah.

Malalah On Game Plan Being Played In Western Just Like Mount Kenya.
Malalah claimed that, Just like in Mount Kenya region, some leaders in the Western region have been sponsored to form political parties and cause confusion.
He called out speaker Moses Wetangula for only forming a Bukusu affiliated party. The Ford Kenya party has a chairperson who is a Bukusu, a secretary general who hails from Bungoma, same as a youth leader.

Musalia Mudavadi was not spared too as Malalah alleged that, there is a party formed at Mudete which is associated with the Prime cabinet secretary. All their mission is to scatter the votes and give Kenya Kwanza administration an easy ride to the state house, second term.
Senator Malalah asked the Luhya community to remain United and align with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua ahead of the 2027 general election. According to him, Gachagua is a formidable leader who will remove President William Ruto from office come 2027 general election.
Malalah has been doing a great ground mobilization since Gachagua left the country for The United States of America. He is expected to jet back in the country after two months. While in the USA, the DCP party leader has been meeting leaders and Kenyans staying abroad. He has been spotted holding meetings that have caused jitters within the ruling party.
